Ariana S. Cota

Ariana S. Cota es antropóloga feminista por la Universidad de Granada y la Università di Bologna y miembro del grupo “OTRAS. Perspectivas Feministas en Investigación Social”. Entre sus principales líneas de investigación destacan: la problematización de las teorías sobre la Ciudadanía; las Tecnologías de la Comunicación como cultura y como artefacto cultural; y la relación entre el arte, la política y la antropología. Algunas de sus últimas publicaciones son un libro sobre el proyecto I.A.P “Representaciones de las mujeres inmigrantes como sujetos de acción política (2008/2010)” y “Ciudadanía Feminista y Artivismo en la Red. La etnógrafa como artista”

Ariana S. Cota is feminist anthropologist from the Universidad de Granada and Università di Bologna and member of group “OTRAS. Perspectivas Feministas en Investigación Social”. Among her main research interests include the critical analysis of ’Citizenship theories’; Communication Technologies as a culture and as a cultural tool: and the relationship between art, politics and anthropology. Some of her later works are the publication of a book about Participation-Action-Research Project “Representations of immigrant women as political action subjects (2008/2010)” and “Feminist Citizenship & Web Artivism. The ethnographer as artist”
